Gentle reader,
You haven’t heard from me in a while because I’ve been doing hand-to-hand combat with Ashmont’s story. As you are well aware by now, he is a ducal pain in the you-know-what. But, then, I knew that when I created him, and it was part of his charm. And so I persevere.
Meanwhile, even though a new book will not appear this year, I am still willing and able to speak—as long as I’m not the only one—and will be making a few appearances.
First up:
Saturday 17 August 2019 at 7PM
Inaugural Bookstore Romance Day
This is a nationwide event celebrating romance, and you’ll find me at
HARVARD BOOK STORE, where I’ll be joining authors Satin Russell, Cecilia Tan, and Kerry Winfrey on a panel moderated by Margaret H. Willison. We’ll follow the conversation with a book signing. You’ll find further information, including a detailed description and directions, at the Harvard Book Store website.
Then:
Wednesday 11 September 2019 from 7 to 8PM
Talented, smart, funny historical romance author Caroline Linden and I will kick off the Cary Memorial Library’s Romance Book Club with a favorite subject: historical romance. Why do we love it? What makes it special? Why does it endure? Will it endure? Why so many dukes? Let’s see what we find to say.
Lexington MA 02420
Wednesday 11 September 2019
7PM to 8PM in the Large Meeting Rm
Further details about the event are at Cary Memorial Library Online.
If you’re in the area, I do hope you can join us at one or both events.
