Miss Wonderful eBook for $0.99

I came back to writing, after a hiatus of about four years, to begin the Carsington Brothers series. What started out as a trilogy about three unmarried brothers turned into a five-book series that included a married brother and the further adventures of his stepdaughter.

Miss Wonderful was the first book in the series, set in Derbyshire’s beautiful Peak District. It’s about a boy, a girl, and a canal.

And now the eBook is available for a mere 99¢.

Lord of Scoundrels eBook for $2.99

I love being able to offer my readers a bargain.

Amazon is offering Lord of Scoundrels as one of its Summer Reading Week Kindle Big Deal books. What’s the Big Deal? From 13 through 19 July, the eBook is only $2.99.

Now, yes, this is an Amazon special, but very often other online booksellers will match prices, so you may be able to find the same deal for other e-readers within a day or so of the Amazon promotion.

January of this year marked this book’s 25th anniversary, an awfully good run for a historical romance. It never occurred to me to celebrate, because I was deep in a special writer’s hell, wrestling with Ten Things I Hate About the Duke. Otherwise, I would have written a blog post or two about the background. Fortunately, there have been deals before now, and you can find here several blog posts about different aspects of the book. If you have an additional topic to suggest, something you’re curious about, please send me an email via the Contact page. I’ll be happy to revisit what was possibly my most fun novel-writing experience, ever (although quite a few others have definitely come close).

Scandal Wears Satin eBook on sale for $1.99

Popping into your inbox quickly to deliver some good news: Scandal Wears Satin, the second book of the Dressmakers Series, is a Kindle monthly deal. You can get it for $1.99 for the entire month of June. Since some of the other eBook retailers sometimes match the Kindle price, there might be a deal for Nook, Kobo, etc.—though I can’t promise.

Please note: This deal applies only to the U.S. We do have deals on my books in the U.K. at times, but this is a completely separate thing, because of licensing arrangements.
